Streaker Class Open Meeting Margate Yacht Club
9th and 10th May 2026
Margate Yacht Club is delighted to host the Streaker Class Open Meeting on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2026, offering competitive racing in one of the most spectator-friendly venues on the south-east coast.
Racing will be run from committee boat starts just a stone's throw from Margate's beaches, providing excellent viewing for friends, family, and the public, as well as close racing for competitors.
Entry
- £40 if paid before the end of April
- £50 for entries paid thereafter
Registration
- Friday 8th May: 5:00-8:00pm
- Saturday 9th May: 8:00-9:30am
The first race will not start before 11:25am on Saturday 9th May.
Food & Social
- Lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday as part of the entry fee for competitors (Pasty, crisps, fruit, tea/coffee)
- Breakfast will be available at the club each morning
- The club bar will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening
- Friday night: Fish and chips at the club for those arriving early
- Saturday night: Group dinner organised at Pan Asian, located next door to the club
Campervans
There is space for campervans in the car park next to the boat park. A small charge will apply (to be confirmed). If you need recommendations for AirBnBs/Hotels/Guest Houses please get in touch.
We look forward to welcoming the Streaker fleet to Margate for a great weekend of racing, food, and socialising both on and off the water.
