Margate Yacht Club is a membership-based club, that encourages all of its participants to take part in the life of the club. The club is entirely run and managed by volunteers and every member contributes to the overall well running and ambience of the club and it's activities.
To ensure everyone can get the most out of the Club, it is organised and we endeavour to manage it in a professional manner. Like all clubs, we do have a set of official rules which can be found on the website.
Subscription and Fees
The Club membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. The boat parking/storage year runs from April 1st to March 31st.
Every year, existing members benefit from an annual discounted prompt renewal payment.
Applying for Membership
If you wish to apply for membership, please click on the "Becoming a Member" tab, fill in the contact form, and click on 'Send Message'. You will receive a reply from the Secretary in due course.
If you are already a member and wish to renew your membership, update your profile details, make contact with other members, use Find a Crew, or view your duties etc. please click "Login" at the top right.
There is storage for dinghies on the hard standing in front of the Club, and there is also limited storage for kayaks and SUPs in the arches. Annual fees are payable for boat/kayak storage, for which the year runs from April 1st to March 31st. Fees can be found on the "Membership Types" page.
